Message If you're talking about the hardpipes absorbing the heat from the engine bay and transferring it to the incoming air, aluminum would be one of the worst since it is so thermally conductive. But I doubt that it would really matter anyway since the air spends hardly any time in that pipe. I don't think it's even a factor.
